FSX Error 1722/1605 Fix
Sometimes when you are installing/uninstalling FSX, the same literally happened to me and sometimes there will be an error 1722 at the very end then of the installation which is really annoying and frustrating after I clicked "ok" on error 1722 it brings me up to error 1605 then after you click "ok" on error 1605 installation will crash. I searched up all youtube and still found no answer until a web search lead me to a small Microsoft sub forum and that little sub forum fixed the error 1722/1605.
How to Fix Error 1722/1605:
this is a step by step fix since its kind of complicated.
1. Firstly download the file named "Microsoft Software Licensing System Reset Tool" I have provided.
2. After the download is done, open the folder and open another folder also named "Microsoft Software Licensing System Reset Tool" that is when you open the app named "mskb928080" and accept all those agreements and stuff.
3. After that click "unzip" inside the "mskb928080" app, wait until the app says "2 file(s) unzipped successfully".After it says that, continue to step 4.
4. Then click the windows key and write "cmd" inside the search box and when "command prompt" appears, click "run as administrator".
5. After that inside the command prompt, type:cd C:\
6. After you type that press enter, and then type:cd microsoftKB928080
7. Then press enter, then type:resetsldl -All
8. Then press enter and wait a few seconds then, close the command prompt.
9. After that try installing FSX again and it should work.
